Local Mac data
Kleanse scans your Mac to show files, applications, storage use, and maintenance previews. File names, paths, scan results, selections, operation logs, and diagnostic reports remain on your Mac. Kleanse does not include application telemetry.
Purchases
Dodo Payments processes checkout and uses your email address to deliver your license. Its handling of checkout and payment data is governed by Dodo Payments' privacy terms. Kleanse never receives or stores your payment-card details.
License activation
Activation and validation communicate directly with Dodo Payments. They send the license key, Dodo activation-instance ID, and the Mac hostname you chose for the device. Kleanse does not collect a serial number, hardware UUID, file information, or a device fingerprint.
Local storage
The license key, activation-instance ID, activation time, and last successful validation time are stored in your local, non-synchronizing macOS Keychain. Settings and local activity history remain on the Mac.
